Is anyone here currently in contact with Absolute Mouthpieces? I would really appreciate hearing from you. I purchased a baritone sax mouthpiece that turned out to be on the smallish side and was generously granted the offer of an exchange. I sent the mouthpiece back in May but have not heard anything since, and emails have gone unanswered. Evidently, these are troubled times, and there may be all sorts of good reasons, but it would be great to (re-)establish contact of sorts. Thank you.

On April 8th I sent a mouthpiece to Germany - tracking was lost and the piece arrived 13 weeks later. Global shipping is very much awry at present and delays are the norm.

So, I finally heard from Absolute Mouthpieces, incidentally on the day I started this thread. The mouthpiece was allegedly in customs, because I had declared a value - mandated in the US. I also wrote clearly on the customs slip that this was a return; an Absolute mouthpiece returned to Absolute Mouthpieces. Apparently, this elicited a customs fee of Euros 53.43. I found this peculiar to say the least, but offered to pay the charge. Now I am just waiting to hear if I can buy another mouthpiece instead - again with emails unanswered.

I gave up on trying to buy another piece from Absolute but got some money back after paying the customs fee, probably what was a charge for a restocking fee and obviously return shipping. Time to look elsewhere.

I bought a stainless steel Absoulute baritone mouthpiece about 5-6 years ago. it was nicely made and I got some good use out of it when I was playing baritone in a loud band.
I also bought a ligature to fit my 10mfan Boss metal tenor that was very innovative. The website is still up but there are less models to choose from. Too bad, I was hoping they would catch on.

Nothing wrong with the mouthpiece that was sent to me. I liked it a lot and quite affordable. It was my mistake to order a size too small but the jump to next size was considerable.
