Aebersold-Coltrane arrangements

I found an ad in one of my Aebersold Play-a-long books for John Coltrane Combo Arrangements and cannot find them on Amazon or the net. Does anyone have info on how I can get these? The Aebersold book I'm referring to is old; it's Vol. 1. "A New Approach To Jazz Improvisation". Revised 4th Edition.

Re: Aebersold-Coltrane arrangements

Bump.
Also advertised on the back of this book: Horace Silver Combo Arrangements. Complete parts for trumpet, tenor and rhythm section. Songs: “Doodln’”, Creepin’ In”, The Prescher”, and “Room 608”.
I’d sure like to find these!

Are you sure it was Aebersold?

While there does appear to be such a publication, it does not seem to focus on Coltrane, or combos, or arrangements.

I say this since the content of the play along is:

SIDE ONE:
Tuning not Bb Concert
1. F minor, E flat minor, D minor
2. F minor, E flat minor, D minor
3. Random minor chords
4. Random minor chords
5. Four-measure cadences

SIDE TWO:
Tuning not Bb concert
1. Blues in Key of B flat
2. Blues in key of F concert
3. Cycle of Dominant-Seventh chords
4. 24 - measure song
5. Minor to dominant progression

However, Hal Leonard has combo arrangement packs. Here is one for Coltrane.

There are many others.

So if you are looking for combo arrangements, maybe it’s the Hal Leonard series you were seeking?
