Hey everyone. im new to these boards, but I own an Alpha I Tenor, gold lacquer. After having seen the new A2 models, I would like to ask to those of whom have played both models: how does the A1 stack up against the A2 and how would you compare them in terms of sound quality and tone production?

The A2 has several upgrades: higher grade pads, abalone key touches, hand made leather/canvas case, additional custom fit PowerTone neck (silver plated bronze alloy), leather CE Winds neckstrap, and specialty finishes like the Midnight, Ice Storm and Acid Rain. Personally I still play the A1 tenor as well, i love the resonance and response I get from it. I have played Pro Series, and A2, but something about my brass lacquer A1, it just sings for me.
