Some of our forum sponsors have shared with us the content of letters that complained about my behaviour and regarding deletions in the Barone forum recently - I completely understand our sponsor's choice to not divulgate the identity of the sender(s) - So to be fair and in respect of their choice, I will not post online the content of these letters either.

In essence however, the author(s) expressed their intention to stop doing business with merchants that sponsor Sax On The Web, unless I publicly apologise for my grossly insulting language towards a 12 year old and to see me revoked of my functions as a forum administrator.

Well, that isn't going to happen - I am absolutely not going to apologise for calling-out someone's dishonest behaviour.

I am also not going to apologise for my language because I didn't use the F word, I didn't call anyone a prick, a dick, a *****, a son of a bitch or any vulgarity of that sort and I wonder what ugly word I must have used that is so indecent to their ears - If by any chance that word happens to be "shill", well excuse me for calling things by their name.

As for apologizing to the 12 year old boy goes, that is if he even exists and/or if he is even aware of what's been going on here, and since I don't believe that a 12 year old could possibly be doing all of this shilling, threatening and blackmailing, I will say the following:

I am sorry that you have such a lousy father who is setting a bad example for you by associating with and shilling for dishonest people, all of that while cowardly hiding behind the identity of his 12 year old son - I sincerely wish, from the bottom of my heart, that you find the courage to reach out and get the help that you need and deserve to become an honest and accomplished young man before it's too late.

This said, since my last post "a letter of public interest" I received several emails and PMs from our members and even non-members, most of which were very positive (Thank you so much for your support). In one message that I got however, someone said that SOTW members for the most part aren't gullible and can very well spot the crooks by themselves. I believe that is absolutely correct and I would like to say that I never thought our membership is gullible. With that in mind and because this post is entitled "an apology from kcp" and that I wouldn't want to disappoint, I am going to apologise; To our Membership.

Whenever someone reported a dispute in the Barone forum, I admit looking the other way, hoping that another admin would take care of it because although I could clearly see something was going on, it was complicated and difficult to put my finger exactly on what's wrong. However, it was blatantly obvious what was going on and that I should have done something about it sooner instead of looking the other way out of fear for reprisal such as receiving hate-mail, being accused of treating people unfairly or being a Barone-hater, which is all going to happen anyway (if not already) because that's all of what these perpetrators know how to do.

So there, I am sorry that I haven't done anything sooner.

At last, the matter is currently in Harri's hands so I don't know what's going to happen, but I trust his judgment and the decision that he will make.

But those threatening to boycott the advertisers seem to think SOTW is beholden, or there would be no point in them making those threats. Having said that I don't think there is any point as I doubt the advertisers would care about shills for another product boycotting them. It makes me more likely to buy an Antigua or Mauriat.

Moreover the site loses credibility if it allows all these shills to continue. So a big thanks from me to kcp for taking a stand.
I have been following this, perhaps for too long, and the situation is getting now way out of reasonable proportions.
KCP has my full support in this.
You the members and voluntary administrators made this site the way it is today. I know where my loyalties are.
