In software industry, we would rather propose an upgrade: replace the VII original (and lame, at least on tenor) neck by a Ref54, like I did. Should I call it MkVII-54, RefVII-54, or what ?
A new reference horn?
I was thinking, what if Selmer decided to make a reference 75 "in the spirit of the mark VII?" How would it do in the market? What improvements would they make? Would it have that pinky cluster? I've been really interested in mark VII's lately lol.
