I believe the band is King Curtis and the Kingpins!

Cool and funky with a boogaloo beat! Sounds a bit like Jr Walker. According to the liner notes, the sax player is Cliff Davis from Chicago. A name I was completely unaware of until now. Here's some more of him on alto.

Interesting to note that the guitar player was Phil Upchurch who had a hit record "You Can't Sit Down";

Jack McDuff was one of the funkiest, blues-drenched jazz organists! I was lucky enough to see him live at a small club in Berkeley (Mandrake's) back in the late '70s and it was fantastic. He had a great sax player with him, but unfortunately I'm not sure who it was. Maybe Lucky Thompson???
