I really like Transcribe! software with its ability to mark beats, slow down etc, but this is a good tip for those without such specialist software.

Thanks Bob. You've inspired me to pull out my cassette of that album. I used to love it! Have you ever heard Belden's Puccini album? It was banned here and I've always been curious about it. Thanks for the iTunes tip, I wish I could do that with my iPod.

Nice trick, but you don't need to put the song you are looping into a playlist. The start/stop times you insert effect the song at all locations, and selecting the loop button until it has the "1" in it prevents itunes from trying to play your entire library.
