Great models....maybe overpriced, given they are pretty obscure in US. But it looks like a beauty....clearly a lacq finish, not plated as seller suggests....

Could be gold plated, some Prestige were completely gold plated (or with gold plated keywork): it would have come with a warranty card stating it would be 24K gold plated. A very nice example of Prestige!

I'd bet that one is gold plated. I held one for about 20 years hoping to break even. Considering inflation, it's the only sax I've lost money on. I did use it briefly for some restaurant jazz gigs and they are nice players. Jaye is probably right that $1500 is optimistic even in near mint condition.
