Just want to know a little more on my alto's history. What year did Conn stop producing the rolled tone holes, and the microtuner?

Mine is from 1949, serial #335,8XX It has a microtuner, but not the rolled tone holes.

Tuners, IIRC, were no longer offered after about 1952.

Why did they stop the production of these two features?

Cost. If they could save money on something most people didn't use......
I find the rolled TH stopped in 1947 but not exactly at one time so there may be a bit of overlap of serial numbers. The 28M alto never had the tuner but the 6M lost it as mentioned around 1952-53. It probably could be ordered after that. The rear Eb and G# trill also disappeared in the early 1930s for most models but the G# trill continued in a reversed fashion into the late 40s at least. My 1945 6M has it (+ the RTH and Tuner).

My 6M is a 320k which puts it in (early?) 1947 and it has RTH, microtuner, and G# trill. So I'm guessing it's probably one of the later ones but not the last with RTH.
