I've got a verrrrry late model Buescher 400, in fact I've never seen another so new. But in the process of getting my 1926 True Tone overhauled I was thinking about getting my 400 repaded and respringed. It has regular non-blue steel springs that I just hate, so I'd really be looking at getting the springs replaced too.

To me it looks identical to a Bundy II, but with a different, all brass, lacquer.

So what I'm really wondering, is if it would be worth it to have it overhauled with new springs, and new pads or not.

sweet... good to hear. I've always wanted blue steel's on it. Maybe I'll break down and do it now that I have an extra horn.
