Hopefully this post is in the right place.

I'm always late to the party...but I have been looking for a new Alto mouthpiece and took a Showboat 6 and DaddyO 7 out on trial from my local shop.

I thought I would try them both and decide which one...not possible...I absolutely love both and I'm afraid I'm going to have to buy the two of them.

I thought the DaddyO would be too dark for me and prefer the slightly brighter Showboat but the DaddyO to my ears is just the perfect Alto sound...absolutely beautiful tone and they are both so easy to play.

DaddyO perfect Alto tone
Showboat perfect Alto tone just a bit scarier ?

For me both of them cover all bases and fit into any style I'm asked to play.

I'm sure most of you who have already tried them have came to the same conclusion long before this post...but I just wanted to share my thoughts.

If you are looking for an Alto mpc that does it all either will do...but my advice to you is if you try both then God Help You. ?

Thanks Mark for finally creating the Alto MPCs that make the sound in my head possible.
Hope you are all safe and well.

Deke.

Thank you, Deke!!!

So glad you are loving both! I really could not be happier with my mouthpieces.
I am working on several things at the moment that people have asked for from me over the years.
I have some very exciting news coming out over the next 6 months.

Thank you so much for putting this up and I hope you can do a couple of audios on the pieces.
I always love to hear you play tenor, so I am really looking forward to hearing you on alto!!!

All the best, Mark
