Hey everyone! My buddy Drew Zaremba recently arranged one of Bob Reynolds’ tunes “Feedback” and recorded it with his big band featuring Bob himself! It also featured the great Mark Lettieri on guitar.

Check it out, and also subscribe to his channel and check out his other stuff. He has 5 more videos from the same session coming out - you don’t want to miss them!!

His tone is much much better than what I remember from the last time I watched him play. Really deep and melodic. Super . His instructional stuff is great also. Thanks for posting. K

Really RICH and impressive.
Great arrangement work, perfect playing, well mixed. A beautiful dialogue of a saxophone with a guitar (5:34-6:10), fantastic "suspension" (6:28-6:29).
Stimulation and calmness, beautiful climates and sophisticated inserts of individual instruments (sometimes several sounds of the organ) cause a lot of excitement and emotions.
This is music.
Congratulations for all players and special thanks for arr. Mr. Zaremba.
Thanks for link, Dave.

...and Bob has such unique and distinctive sound. You know it's him within seconds....... Wow 6:30!
And he’s been playing a 1980’s stock Tone Edge 9 since the 1980’s. I spent time with him at the ole’ Inside/Outside Sax Retreat in Nashville.

Sublime! I love the "making of" ensemble videos of fabulous arrangements and performances, first popularized for me by Snarky Puppy. The home studio parts from Bob and Mark were seamlessly integrated. This video was elegant.

If you are interested in reviewing a few Bob Reynolds Quartet live performances of this tune, as well as an album version featuring John Mayer...
