I'm looking to get my alto Selmer Soloist long shank tip opened up and refaced.
I'd prefer to not ship my mouthpiece internationally to get it done. If you have any recs in Japan I'd be glad to hear them.
I´ve got this Selmer Soloist E Bass Saxophone mouthpiece in great shape that will be put for sale but I am trying to determine a price.
According to my research soloist mouthpieces were included with Mark VI bass saxophones (but not sure if with this tip opening) but have not found...
Does anybody have experience with these 2 mouthpieces, Mouthpiece Cafe Espresso and Aizen SO. They are both inspired by the Selmer Soloist.
I own the Aizen SO but in some conditions, I find the sound a little bit too thin. Does the Espresso sound fuller?
I am a newbie to the saxophone, still looking for my first instrument. While browsing for-sale ads, I saw many vintage Selmer Soloist mouthpieces selling for very high prices (several times higher than new Selmer money uthpieces). Are the vintage ones much better than the new ones?
