I thought I was going crazy but my new YAS26 is ridiculously sharp - I play an A and it's practically a C. Play a C and it's a D#. The mouthpiece is about halfway along the cork, and even pulling it right back until it's falling off doesn't come close to the right tuning.

A standing advice here on SOTW when people have problems with the soprano is "push the mpc as far as possible onto the cork". I have even gotten that advice from a mouthpiece maker. I have tried it, and it really works - except that the sax gets very sharp. So - why must the mouthpiece be so far...

Hi guys, each time i play, i tune my sax in concert A first, then the whole horn is in tune, except the low C, B, Bb, they are 30 cents sharper, what' s wrong with my horn, and what can i do to fix it?
