  1. Selmer (Paris)
Hi All, I am interested in the engravings of the European Selmer Mark VI's (specifically Tenor's) and am unable to find a definitive source that provides the different variants throughout history. I wanted to follow up on the discussion in this thread and the commonly referenced getasax article...
  2. Bb Tenor
I’m new to this forum and I wanted to share this absolute incredible find and also get some advice & opinions. There has been a legend passed down through the band kids at my school about the mark 6 in the storage room. The other day me and a buddy had some time and we were able to track it...

In case you haven’t seen this. A wonderful short on the mythical Mark VI
  4. Bb Tenor
I've had a series 2 tenor for close to ten years now and I do love the sound, however, not keen on some ergonomics. As much as I would love a mark vi or sba, my wallet (and wife) would despise me. I have plans to get a bss heritage neck at some point but I'm curious is selmer have ever...

I was scanning all of my paper docs, trying to downsize, and came across my appraisal and receipts for my MKVI Bb Bari. This got me thinking as I am thinking about selling off some of the heard:( Emilio sold me the Bari and overhauled it. It has always had a (not unpleasant) "Old spice"...

  8. Sax vs. Sax, Mpc vs. Mpc, etc.
I started this comparison in a German forum, and we had a lot of fun guessing and commenting, so I'll share it with this community. Horn are a 2006 Inderbinen, a French 1956 Selmer Mark 6 (stripped) with a numbered 67xxx neck and a French 1949 Super (Balanced) Action. Mouthpieces are a...
  9. Selmer (Paris)
Hi everybody! Here's my question about an unusual horn The serial number is 546xx so it's supposed to be a sba. Almost all the lists say that the first M6's were from serial number 55 200 - Anybody have seen a similar neck? Anyone have a tenor with a close serial number? cheers!
