I keep rephrasing and refining and have been unable to find the length from bell to bow of a curved soprano saxophone.
I'm trying to determine which, if any, of the sax stands that hold an alto might also accommodate a curved soprano.
Thanks in advance for information and guidance.
I have in my posession a 1920's/1930's U.S.A made curved soprano saxophone. It is Low Pitch this I know is a fact as it has Low Pitch stamped on it.
It is approximately 16 inches in length (i.e measuring from the bow to the top of the crook).
Can anyone tell me if this is a 'C' curved...
Bought a Dolnet soprano silver plated, no resoldering marks, almost all the silver intact, pads looks bad, springs are far too soft and ofcourse it is leaking a lot.
The serial number is 74***, I think it is a early Bela air.
The neck has this ring on it and the palm keys are hexagonal...
