I've just picked up this Alto and plan to recondition it (it has a nice tone but definatley in need of a few pads etc). I'm keen to find out more about its orign & age. The bell is marked 'Indiana' (but no other text), immediately below the thumb rest there's a two part serial number (255 4927)...
