I just bought a Buescher low pitch TruTone C melody (silver tone with gold inside of bell) on Ebay for just north of $200. The serial number dates the horn around 1918 and, from the seller's description, it was found in a barn. I"m pretty sure that's why I bid on it. I can't help but imagine...
