I saw a Continental Tenor in a pawn shop several about 5 years ago. I was looking for a tenor, but unfortunately I was only 12 at the time, didn't have a tenor mouthpiece to try it with, and didn't know much about saxophones in general. I remember it having right hand bell keys, no engraving other than "Continental", a range to high F, a standard-type octave vent on the neck, and said "made in Japan". I couldn't play it as the mouthpiece that was with the horn had maybe 8mm of beak left, and I didn't own a Tenor mouthpiece then. It seemed decently constructed, but at the time I thought anything that said "made in Japan" other than Yamaha or Yanagisawa meant to stay away from it, so I never looked into it.

I also just read on Steve Goodson's site on his list of Stencil Makers that Continental was also a Conn stencil. If it's made in the US, and has split or left hand bell keys it may be a Conn.
