I prefer Legere Studio Cut #3 — but that's all it is; it breaks down to personal preference. There are probably tens of thousands of people playing metal Bergs on all different brands of reeds and, as you know, each reed is unique, with it's own individual characteristics, so it's really pretty hard to say that any one particular brand is "the best". You may find one particular reed that works really well but sooner or later it wears out and there is no guarantee that the next one in the box will be just as good.

I like rico royals, and plasticovers, the covers in particular are consistent, i use them on a baritone 130/0 and if there are any inperfections in the table/facing/rails etc,, i think this reed could help in that respect,as these reeds seem quite flexible..

On My 115/2- either plasticover 2.5s or V16s
