Default What make is my Sax???

Does anyone know what I have???

My tenor sax in incribed MARK XII......that is it! nothing else! and since Selmer only go up to a MARK 6 i think, this is a head scratcher. there is a number below the thumb hook, 4820. I have no papers with it, aquired it from an aunt, and I think it was her grandfathers. On the top piece it simply has the number 20. PLEASE HELP ME

So that would be a mark 12, ie twice as good as a mark 6.

Seriously, we need more info, pics etc...

I have heard of a hawkes & son Century XX Not knowing your age I can only guess it may be more like the right date of manufacture for an Aunties Grandfather than a Selmer Mark VII which exists and oddly enough follwed the mark VI but still it doesn't sound like either.
Follow Pete's advise and post pics. You'll get a lot of helpers that way!

Yes, but if it was a Mark 7, it would be a VII not a XII, and it would also say Selmer (Paris) on it.
