The clarinet/ saxophone people
A group that basically talks about their latest achievements/advances with their clarinet/saxophone. Doesn't matter if you're a saxophone player doubling on clarinet, or a clarinet player doubling on saxophone, or you could just be some clarinet player, or some saxophone player.Members... preferably those still in high school. Come on!

Couf Superba Lovers
Herbert Couf, for many years the vice president of the W. T. Armstrong Company, imported three models of Keilwerth saxophones to the United States; they were stenciled (engraved) with the model name "H. Couf". They were sold in the U.S. under this name from approximately 1965 until 1988. The model names were "Superba I", "Superba II" and "Royalist".

Earl Turbinton aka " The African Cowboy " ~Master creator and saxophonist
Earl Turbinton "the African Cowboy," The saxophone player from New Orleans played with musical giants, from Cannonball Adderley to B.B. King, Herbie Hancock to the Neville Brothers,to the Wild Magnolias.
Some of my favorite CD's he did were;
The Wild Magnolias (1974) and They Call Us Wild
(1975);
Zawinul (1970); This has not only Earl butWayne Shorter and is a benchmark in jazz and explorations of modern music by Jow Zawinul. Earl was the 2ed saxophone player in Weather Report but never traveled with them because of ties at the time to BB King.
Earl Turbinton did record an outstanding CD with his brother, Willie Tee Turbinton, appropriately entitled Brothers for Life, in 1988.
Vocalist Cassandra Wilson acknowledges the great
saxophonist as her personal mentor.
This man left a great thumbprint on jazz and the saxophone and should never be forgotten.

Start in SF swing up and around picking up Sacramento then south through Stockton then southwest picking up Saint Joe then further south picking up Santa Cruz and those that want to sneak in from Monterey or Carmel and back up the Peninsula thus catching Oakland, Bezerkley and of course Fremont.
