Does anyone play the yamaha custom 875 line of horns? I'm really interested in knowing how this G1 neck responds. I have a 62 alto and a 62R soprano and absolutely love these horns. Really considering picking up a custom tenor but want to know if the Custom is that much better than the 62. When I got my 62 23 years ago, the selmer mark vii and the supra80 couldn't touch the 62. Only the mark vi can hold its own well than and the balanced action too. against the 62. Let me know if any of you play the custom series. I played a custom alto once me and another guy switched horns at a gig and it was like I was playing my 62. I couldn't tell any difference but this was about 1989 maybe they have changed since then.
