Does anybody know who makes these? They claim to be made in Germany. WW&BW is having a sale, the low A bari is available for $2895...is this a good price

They are made by B&S, and are based on their intermediate level 1000 series. I plan on getting one on trial from WW&BW myself next month. My understanding is that they are well made, and from the pictures, appear to have double control arms on all the keycups from C on down.

I love the Keilwerths, but I rarely need a bari and can't justify the $5500 for a horn I won't play very often. Unfortunately, sometimes it just comes down to economics.

Morry, did you try the Allora Bari? What did you think?

I previously tried the Allora bari and it appeared to be a very good value. Built like a tank and sounded good. More resistance then a Yani B901. Nice finish and engraving, came in a nice BAM style case.....
