Should someone play different instruments in the same practice session? The mouthpiece and instrument for concert season is radically different than the one for marching season. I need to make sure I stay proficient on both. Should I practice on both at the same time or alternate or just hope for the best during each season?

Why on earth not? Could you maybe name which instruments?

If it's something like alto sax and Bb clarinet, maybe not b/c your embouchure would get tired faster and you wouldn't be able to play either for as long as you might like. But if it's sax and a brass/string/flute/dbl-reed instrument there's no reason you can't.

The three instruments I need to practice are the Eb contrabass clarinet, the alto sax, and the Bb clarinet.
