I'm working on Eb now. I can use the Eb-1 fingering to get a Eb-2 pitch (easy). Then Eb-1 fingering to get the Bb-2.
But I can't get the Eb-3 by using the same fingering.
If I cannot get the octave, usually I will raise a little bit one of my finger to reach that pitch. I think this is a tricky way many players are use when they learn overtones. But after I familiar on that pitch, I don't need to do this.
Example:
C-1 fingering to get a C-3 = I raise my right hand 3rd finger slightly.
My question is which finger (L or R hand) I should raise to get the Eb-3 ?
(When I start on Eb, it's hardreach to Bb-2, I rasie my right hand 2nd or 4th finger. Now, it's OK)
