I need a little help, I've decided clean out the attic. I have a "The Martin Tenor" with serial number 174784 and was wondering how I might determine the age and value of this instrument? I'ts been sitting in a case for at least twenty five years, it doesn't look to pretty but no dents, the action seems to be OK, I would suspect the some if not all the pads need replaceing. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

you can probably get 1250-1350 on a bad day and 1500-1700 in good shape with new pads etc...

The Martin Tenors are considered by some to be the best Martins.
I agree with Raphyels price range.
