Well, the sax is back after it's overhaul by Stephen Howard and I can't fault it. It plays and looks fantastic. You can read the review here

As well as the Jody Jazz ( sounded like a snake charmer) and original Buescher mouthpiece (very smooth and mellow but a bit closed for me - will get some harder reeds and try again) I also have a Yamaha Custom 4CM (again very smooth and mellow). For now I'm sticking with the Yamaha mouthpiece.
Definately an exceptional buy.
