There are some other SML soprano threads... check them out.

I have a SML soprano with serial number 23369, I found in the collection of old instruments of our local concertband.
There's a lot of work on it, but I was surprised of the ease with which I could play it. it has a really powerful sound.

I want to buy it from the concertband but I do not have a clue what the price for such an instrument is. Could anyone give me an idea. I know that the reperation would cost me +- 250 euros.

Melle,

I would offer maybe 500 Euros if it needs that much repair.

Hey jazzmadness,

I have a SML Marigaux sop I'm willing to sell. It's a nice horn, recently rebuilt by Sarge at WorldWideSax. I've got two sops and have going back and forth about which one I like better and think I decided on my old Martin.
Contact me if you're interested.
