Koffman flutes on ebay

Just noticed an Artley bass flute and Powell piccolo that belonged to Moe Koffman for sale on ebay.

I sent the info to one of my customers who called the daughter and she said the Bass Fl hadn't been played in years. I sold a few of those Artleys in the 70s and they were pretty good. I think it should go for about $1,800 as Emersons with the trill keys can be had for under $2,500. The Pic is a metal one and they are OK but not great. It would be a high to blow some Swingin' Shepherd blues on that Bass! Moe was one of my favorites when I started flute 40 years ago.
