pls i need some help, some one ofer me to buy a winston boston old saxsophone. and i have no idea haw it is.....

Winston brand saxes (made in China and Taiwan) have been made since the mid '80s. There is no serial number chart to my knowledge. If it's earlier than '95, and/or plays like crap, make a lamp out of it. I got lucky and got a good one in '95.

If you contact E.M. Winston via their website and give them your serial number,
they can let you know the date of manufacture and country of origin.

My alto was made during the 1990's in Taiwan.
I'm still very happy with it.
