I've been looking into buying a tenor sax now to replace my POS. I really love the handling, and sound of my Guardala Black Nickle Alto, and would love to purchase a Tenor. But much to my surprise I can't seem to find a single place that sells them in the USA. Even the wwandbw stopped selling them. Anyone know of a place in the USA where I can order one, or know why there hard to find now? Thanks.

Sorry ............ my post did not highlight the web site as I had hoped....once again ,we are a simple people . I did buy a used Black Nickle Tenor ( I don't know the model) from Walt, and I really like the punch from this horn. Not as sweet as my VI ,but it's not supposed to be. At some gigs people look at the Guardala and are impressed before I even put a mouthpiece on !! crazzzzyyyyyyy
Still a very pretty horn with some huevos and great range. If you stand them up next to each other side by side it is almost a twin with the VI with the keywork ,a bit heavier though . I hope you have some luck in your quest !! ****I LOVE MY HORNS ! ALL EIGHT OF THEM !!****
Long shot, but they are great people... http://www.houseofwoodwinds.com/ I hope this prints o.k.
(You just need to make sure there is no punctuation within a space of either end. "Preview" mode will show whether you are successful.)
Ditto, tho', the quality of people and products at House of Woodwinds.

I think The Sax Shop in Skokie Illinois is carrying them. www.saxshop.com.

:D There is a beautiful Black and Silver New/or Mint? Tenor at Careree Music in North Metro Atlanta. If you are interested, contact me and I will have Sam Contact you. The sax player that teaches and helps with the store is the BEST tenor player in the Southeast. If he says it's a good horn then it is a good horn. I don't know the web page but if you contact me at brosax@msn.com and I will be glad to help you.

As far as I know, the guardala horns are not produced any more. This is the reason why you won't find too many dealers advertising them. As the above posts say, you might still find one that a dealer has in stock.
There are some popping up on ebay from time to time for good prices, also.
If you can't find one, try the B&S horns. They are made in the same factory, and the design is very close to the Guardala (some say the new Medusa tenor is even better).
Hope this helps,
B.
