Can anyone help identify the maker of the saxophone shown in the photos? It's engraved Paul Cavour Invicta Model, but I think this means it's a stencil - possibly Pierret?

It looks exactly like a Conn Copy, but I don't know much about Pierret. It could a German Copy. That is all that I can think of at the moment.

Is it anything like a New Wonder Series II?

Same question from last year

Ad from U.K

Paul Cavour INVICTA Bb tenor sax.
£599 inc.vat SOLD

Despite our best efforts we cannot find any reliable information on this sax, so help us out if you can! Different online comments suggest it is c.1920's French or Italian and we feel the date is correct and most likely French. The good news it is low pitch and has recently been re-padded so it is very playable. It has had one significant repair on the neck as you can see on the photo. Other than that it is in remarkable condition for its age with most of it's dark gold lacquer intact.

Interestingly, the photos of the sax in the thread last year don't look anything like this sax so I think this one must have been a stencil from a different maker. Would welcome any input from someone who can advise. See extra photos.

Mark,

I haven't found out anything more about my Paul Cavour either and as you said your sax and mine look completely different. If you do find out any more information please let me know.

Looks a lot like a Rampone and Cazzani, as identified in this thread:
