New King 665

Does anybody know about the King 665? It's impossible to find any info no matter how much I search. The only thing I can find is that it retails for about $1,400. Any info would be helpful. I am 40 years young :D and am getting back into sax after giving it up when I left High School. I found a mint condition King 665 in my area for $500 (store display model). Thanks.

Its not a bad horn but it isnt a great horn either. However, if it still new at $500, I would recommend it for a beginner.

Thanks for the reply. It is new. They rent them at the music store along with Yamaha Yas 23. They both retail for around the same price, although I know the Yamaha's are better quality. But for a new beginner's horn, the King 665 is nice to bang around on until I get back into the swing of things again.

Just make sure that they give you a 1 year warranty on the pads & adjustments. Especially being a display model, it could really be 2 years old, just never sold.
