Meanwhile, in Cleveland, Randy's old Wurlitzer (Conn) bass sax, which I was lucky enough to purchase earlier this year, has been purring sweetly through the Bach Cello suites (that is, except when I unintentionally start "arranging" them!)
Every sax player should see Randy's clip, above--especially those of us who like to dwell in the bass clef. Merry Christmas everyone!

I hope you are enjoying the Wurlitzer bass. You (and maybe Howard Johnson) are the only one I ever met who was courageous enough to take up the bass sax FIRST. Being a tuba player helps a lot, though. Merry Christmas!
