I have a bari-sax and I would like to know some history ect. before I try to sell it Stamped on is the buffet logo and writeing Evette & Schaeffer Anc. Buffet-Crampon&Cic Brevetis sgdg 18&20 Passage du gd Cerf Paris 7098. Anybody who wants pics e-mail me any info would be helpful.

Check on Sax-pics. Quite a bit of info there about Buffet. Depends on the age of the horn, but Evette were considered student line horns in later years (newer buffets). If it is one from around when Evette bought Buffet (older horn), it may be a higher quality instrument. The Buffet Dyanaction and SuperDynaction horns are great players - at a par with Mark VI as far as I'm concerned. I have a Mark VI bari and a Super Dynaction alto and find that the keywork, sound, etc., make them easy to switch between.
