The wierdest composition/transcription question ever...

At least, I think it is. Have any of you ever played around with the (hehe.. ya ready for this?) motif that runs throughout the soundtracks from The Terminator and Terminator 2?? If so, what did you come up with for the notes/key? I'm thinking maybe alot of flats.. Or maybe even a blue note or two?

Go ahead and chuckle, but I think it'd be pretty cool to try and do something with it on my tenor.

That theme is in straight up D minor, with D being the first note. On your tenor that would be an E. So there would essentially be one sharp, actually (or one flat in concert key). For a while I thought it was D dorian, but on one of the chords (the choir part) there is a Bb sung. It moves through modes based off of D minor. If I had the time or the willpower I'd examine the song chord by chord and tell you what I come up with 8)
