View Full Version : Inspiring music to restore faith in sax

Veto - Alto

I've found myself wishing I had chosen violin instead of sax recently so I'm looking for music to bring me back to the light.
Anything more mainstream, i.e Baker Street, Your Latest Trick, Jazzman would be great. Any suggestions?
Thanks.

erm, how about the Soprano in 'An Englishman in New York'?

Pete Thomas makes a pretty convincing argument for the Bari on 'Voodoo Chill'

Not mainstream, but possibly the best £8 I ever spent is 'Back to Back - Duke Ellington and Jonny Hodges Play the Blues' on Verve. It's as good for 'Sweets' Edison on the trumpet as it is for Hodges on the alto, but together? wow.
