Grafton Octave Mechanism

I have been very generously gifted a Grafton Alto from a stellar Tenorman from New York (whom would prefers to remain nameless if I know him, however I hope to publish some improvisational articles authored by him on SOTW soon). It was in need of some mechanical work which I have personally squared away, however, the Octave mechanism was damaged slightly, and the external spring(not the coil spring in the thumb key mechanism itself) is missing.

I can't seem to adjust it to function as intended without knowledge and diagrams of a working example.

Could/would someone with a Grafton, or a tech with knowledge of it's Octave mechanism please post some pictures or diagrams (no matter how rough) to assist me?

Never mind (not that the responses were just rolling in;)), I have solved the problem myself. I discovered that the forked portion of the Octave arm that links the action of both octave key/pips was missing a section.

Once I fabricated a new one and soldered it in place, the octave mechanism works like a charm.
