LA-625 or LA-650 - How you tell the difference?

Just took delivery of a surprisingly nice soprano LA Sax. How do I tell whether it's a 625 or a 650? Were those two models offered at the same time, one being higher end than the other, or did the 650 replace the 625? Thanks.

The 625 is a lower price point LA Sax sop compared to the LA-650. The LA-625 is referred to as a series II and the LA-650 is still referred to as the series I. There's about $500 difference in the list prices with the 625 being less. Go to the LA Sax website (http://lasaxophones.com) for more info.
