Hi, I've been intrigued by the line of jupiter saxes plus my teacher recommends them highly. A silly question yet a valid one i'd like to know the shape of the octave key. Might be a bit difficult i know but if you could assist in any way thanks.

Well if you are referring to the octave key mechanism they are the normal shape of a elongated half moon circling the thumb rest from the 12/1 o’clock to 3 o’clock position (800-900 series).
If you purchase a new one or at least from the year 2002 on you will get a great horn. I have changed over to Jupiter, use them in the studio and live performances and now my MKVI's seldom see the light of day.
