The song - Desafinado
The Play -Along tempo seem to be much faster than Stan Getz's original song (instrument version).

Getz's tempo seem to be around 176 to 180 bpm. Can anybody tell me what tempo for Hal Leonard's Play-Along version ?

Sorry, don't have the Hal Leonard version you refer to.

However, there is a great version of that song by Ella Fitzgerald which is significantly faster than the Getz version. Ella really makes that song cook and swing! Maybe that's what Hal Leonard had in mind with the more upbeat tempo?

The Hal Leonard play-along is around the same as Getz's tempo. It clocks in at around 170bpm.
