Grafton Tenor???

Apparently the engineering difficulties (ie flexing,fracturing,tuning) were enough to preclude the manufacture of bigger saxes from plastic

i see on the LexLubber site that they did make prototypes but no production horns

did u guys know ive got a grafton on auction at www.trademe.co.nz it's up to the princely sum of $216 at the moment, finishes at 7.40pm tonite.

The Grafton company made a prototype, but due to manufacturing/tooling restraints...it was never put into production.

I wonder whatever happened to that prototype though.
