Beginner Keyboard Help

I'm new to these forums (sorry if this may be in the wrong area) and instruments in general. A few weeks ago, I got Guitar Hero and I thought it was the best thing ever, except i really wasnt in to the kind of music on there. I listen to a lot of Billy Joe l and Elton John, which is where a piano would come in. Only I'm not commital enough to buy something that expensive, pay for lessons, etc. So I'm looking for some type of beginner keyboard so I can learn to play Piano Man. I dont wanna spend too much money, I dont wanna have to worry about foot pedals, and I wanna have enough keys to be able to possibly move on to the real piano eventually. I'm looking to kind of learn as I go/teach myself so any keyboards with learning to play types of features would be nice too. So....what should I get?

you are in the wrong forum, unless you wanna buy a sax as well as a piano..

try typing piano forums into a search engine and maybe you'll find a site that corresponds a little better

ok thanks for the re-direct, and sorry for posting on the wrong forum. this site came up when i googles some variant of "beginner keyboard" or something like that.
