First and foremost THANK YOU to everybody who told me that patience would be "the key". It was. I'd been waiting a year to get a Tenor Sax.
I let at least four 1960's 10-M's go to other people because I simply didn't have the money to get over "the five hundred dollar hump". For the record I should state I'm a Guitarist (and a pretty crappy one at that - but I've been at it for so long that I'm okay at getting over).
Now - The Horn, I'll guestimate She's mid to late 1930's Pre-War. She arrived sans mouthpiece and lig so I'd appreciate all suggestions
from everybody. She'd gonna need a new Right PalmKey Flat Spring I knew that before I bid - The Seller was VERY Righteous. Pads surprisingly are decent.
Never would have had the confidence without SOTW to have pulled the trigger without someone holding my hand and an extra diaper.
Judging by EVERYTHING that I've learned here I done good.
I paid $150 bucks with original case and shipping was $45 - $195 total.
Sadly I gotta get myself to work now.
It'll take me a couple of days but if someone explains it to me I'll try to get some pictures posted to show everybody.
Y'know I was wonderin' if it'd happen and damn if it didn't.
To me it's better than just about anything, talk about a "late-bloomer" though
