ligature for Morgan Excaliber alto: wanted

my alto Vandoren Ultimo won't fit, will Clainet ligs fit?
thinking of Oleg, Ultimate by FL or Vandoren Ultimo.
Any recommendations?

Because this is an old post you've probably found a solution or moved on in regards to finding a ligature to fit you Morgan Excalibur. I use the Morgan 6E on my alto, and use an Eddie Daniels Rovner ligature. I don't know if it gives the best sound as I haven't explored that exhaustively, but it can be changed in about 6 different ways to affect reed response and tone.

This same Eddie Daniels model fits my Tenor Morgan 7E as well....I have two of the same size. I think I remember that they were both Alto ligatures...yes!

Ralph told me that all of his Excalibur's are streamlined.
You must go down one size to get a perfect fit.
For tenor... use an alto lig
for Alto you must use a clarinet lig...
or just do what i do...
Silk cord... the Ultimate Ligature.
Please try out string... it really is the best !!!
