Alto or Tenor

I'm sure theres something like this on here somewhere but I'm asking again.

I'm a trumpet player And I recently bought a Alto Sax, I wanted to learn the Tenor, but I have to work with what I've got. So my question is. If I start out and learn the Alto, is there really a big difference when switching to the Tenor (or any other sax for that matter)? Are the fingerings Really different? and the way you play it.....

The fingering system is the same for all saxes, hence sax players can swap instruments easily. However, there are embouchure alterations to be made when swapping.
