University of Wisconsin White Water Jazz Camp

Is anyone going to this jazz camp? their web site is http://facstaff.uww.edu/wiests/jazz/jazzcamp.html . They have a few openings left I believe. It should be great.

Tenorsaxer...I'm not going, but the U of Wis, Whitewater campus is near Milwaukee, Madison and Chicago so extra-curricular music research opportunities abound. Mark Bettcher, the trombone instructor, is well-recognized in the Chicago area....I've heard him play and he's quite good....he had Chicago's Frank Catalano ( tenor sax) as a student at Elgin ( Il.)Community College...too bad Frank isn't teaching.

cool. My teacher, Tony Vacca, here in Phoenix said that he worked with some of the instructors when he played with Maynard. I am really looking forward to this.
