Jupiter Tenor

I played a Jupiter tenor yesterday. I'm not sure of the model, but it has the black lacquer finish and is almost new. Gorgeous horn.

Very nice full, dark tone and good subtones.

I used a Ponzol ML 110 and a Rico royal 2.5.

For some reason, I had great difficulty sounding anything below low C on this horn with this setup. Burble, burble. Wondering if it was me, I put the same mpc and reed on my Mark VI when I got home and nailed those notes.

ya almost certainly leaky cuz those horns are one of the most responsive i have ever played in the low register.
