View Full Version : Categorize Dealer/Tech Directory by State?

I would use the Dealer/Technician Directory a lot more if it were categorized by state. I'd think it would be easier to do it now rather than wait until it grows too big to tackle. I'm sure you know what I mean, but just in case--when you clicked on the main topic you would see an alphabetical listing of state-labeled directories, in addition to the WW&BW directory that's listed at present. The first one would be Alabama, I believe, and so on. When you clicked on the directory, you would go to a page with all posts about Alabama sax dealers and technicians.

In its current state, it's just too much of a pain to weed through all the unorganized posts in this directory!

Thanks!

you could do it by region too, that would make things a bit easier.

I agree, however, what about dealers that do a lot of internet business? Sax Alley, SaxQuest, Worldwide Sax, etc? Should we list those according to where they are physically located, or should we also make a sub-forum for dealers that do a lot of online business such as these? I believe we already have something like that in place, but perhaps having just a list of them wouldn't be a bad idea either.

I'm not being sarcastic here either. I think it's a good idea.

Okay y'all.... now you're in trouble... you've got us all thinking (a "How many mods does it take to screw in a light bulb" joke comes to mind :)). Changes will be coming soon. We're still ironing out details, but we'll keep you posted on what's happening.

Thanks Pete. I think I might buy a calendar.

I agree. It's unfortunate, because there is a great deal of excellent information on this site, but you have to weed through all the other posts.
